Portable heat and a/c products like space heaters and portable air conditioning units are a few that a lot of people are looking into for alternate heating and air conditioning needs. The more expensive heat and a/c products available today are things like radiant heated floors for your home, which is a good energy saving source of heating. I actually got myself radiant heated floors installed last year to try to cut down on my energy bills, and I can tell you it has worked. Not to mention, it has heated my home a little better than the conventional heating unit that was part of my central heating and air conditioning system. For the Summer time, I have cut down on my central air conditioning use by getting a ductless mini split air conditioning system. The ductless air conditioning systems are not as pricey as radiant heated floors. They are actually quite affordable, and create the same type of energy savings. I have to say though, that I do prefer my central air conditioning system if it is super hot outside with temperatures above 100 degrees. Everything I am talking about here are some of the great choices in heat and a/c products today. If you can, I would look into a few of these! Spend money to save money, that is the main point of what I am trying to say.
