But, it was actually not too hard at all
There are plenty of times when life will throw something at you in order to remind you that you’re totally fallible. It started happening to me when I was just a kid. But, with the help of great parents, I always got up, dusted myself off and got back to trying. It’s just that I have never been what you would call fortunate. That would be something like coming home to a perfectly HVAC controlled house after work. For me, I am adjusting to living in my parent’s basement. This was a result of huge college loans and a very low paying, entry level job. I simply couldn’t make ends meet paying for an apartment. And, it wasn’t all that much of an apartment either. The HVAC was bad. The place was in a not so great part of town. I even had to bring in a roommate. Even then, I just couldn’t make my budget fit my circumstances. Thankfully, my parents have always been out there supporting me. They offered me the basement and my dad and I went about making it into a bit of a living space. The first thing we did was to install a ductless HVAC unit. There were no HVAC vents in the basement so I had to have some sort of heating & cooling. I was shocked that dad and I were able to install the HVAC unit ourselves. But, it was actually not too hard at all. I was further shocked by how powerful that small ductless HVAC unit was when we turned it on. That small addition really helped to make this situation a lot more bearable.
