My husband and I bought our first home together about numerous weeks ago.
The people I was with and I were so gleeful to finally find a home that we both loved.
It is an older farmhouse, and it has numerous kitchens and two washrooms. It is the perfect size for our growing family. The people I was with and I have numerous small children and two large cats. The home came with forty acres of land as well which is something that our husband absolutely wanted. All was well with our cabin until Winter season came along. The people I was with and I remodeled the kitchen and washrooms. The people I was with and I tore out the carpet in the kitchens and finished the wood flooring underneath. The people I was with and I never tore out any walls though, so we did not realize that there was a complication until Winter season came, and we could not keep our home warm. The people I was with and I tried several things. The people I was with and I got our furnace ran tests on. The people I was with and I bought some section gas oil furnaces to try and help, however it all failed miserably. The heat just seemed to disappear. My husband had to knock out a wall in the family room, and when he did, he discovered that there was no replacement in the wall at all. He tore out another wall, and found no replacement. He tore out a fourth wall upstairs, and again, there was no replacement. The people I was with and I found out that there was absolutely no replacement in the entire home except for a single section in the residing room. The people I was with and I were so worried when we found out, and it ended up costing us a lot of cash to insulate the entire house; Now, we are able to heat the house, and it absolutely stays warm.
