Having air conditioning again was really refreshing.
My family and I love to go camping.
We normally go camping the cheaters way. We take our air conditioned camper and stay in it. According to many people, that isn’t really camping. We love to go camping in our camper though. We prefer to have air conditioning and not sweat to death especially at night. During the day, we are outside in the water most of the time, so we don’t really mind not having air conditioning, but at night, it is difficult to sleep when it is really hot. We decided to go without air conditioning this year. We went tent camping, and that was quite the adventure. We went tent camping in the middle of the woods miles and miles away from any type of civilization. It was real camping. It took everything in me not to go home after the first night. It was so hot without air conditioning. I knew that it would be rough not having air conditioning, but I honestly never dreamed it would be that rough. It didn’t help that we picked one of the hottest weeks of the year to go camping without air conditioning. I was never so excited to get back to my air conditioned house as I was after that camping trip. Surprisingly, I made it the whole week, but it was so nice to have air conditioning once again. I don’t think I will ever be going real camping again. I like the fake camping where I can have air conditioning.
