I have finally decided that before next winter hits, I’m going to move south.
- I am so sick and tired of the cold weather and the frigid temperatures around here that I’m ready to make a big move even though it will be a pain to get it all done.
The last straw for me was when I found out that I’m going to have to replace the HVAC system in my house. I’ve been having the worst time with my furnace system lately. It seems like every other week, I have been having to call the local HVAC company to come out and do maintenance work and service work on my oil furnace. It’s so annoying to have to keep on paying for getting my furnace worked on when I know that it’s just going to keep on tearing up a week later. I don’t know what the problem is, but the last HVAC technician that came out said that there was no point in continuing to fix my existing oil furnace. He said that I might as well just go ahead and buy a different king of furnace or a high efficiency heat pump or something like that. That just made me start thinking that I’m sick and tired of spending money on furnaces and furnace repairs! It’s like pouring money down into a hole filled with quicksand. Now I’m planning on moving south and taking advantage of the warm temperatures and the lack of hot weather. I’m looking forward to spending my money on cooling my new house instead of trying to heat it all the time.
