Ever since our neighbors told us about some great energy saving tips, I was very interested in saving money on the energy bills. The one thing I tried, my family was not too crazy about. I was adjusting the temperature control settings to save money. This made it warmer in the household during the summer season. My kids were always opening the freezer and the fridge to stick their heads in and I figured this was costing me more money than adjusting the temperature control, so I decided to stop doing this. It really wasn’t worth it if everybody was just going to be uncomfortable, but I did tell them to use their fans more to try to keep cool. I figured another good thing we could do was head to the pool more often so we could keep our temperature control at minimal settings during those times. Then we could adjust the air conditioning back to normal settings when we were back home. I know I’m pretty new when it comes to saving money on the energy bills, so I don’t know everything. I know that in time I will find some great energy savings tips that will help me out. One idea that I really like is using the LED light bulbs in the house because they don’t emit too much heat.
