I have a good buddy who is deathly afraid of bees

She totally freaked out and she was convinced that she was under siege by a million bees.

When it comes to bees of any type, my good friend Lisa is completely terrified of them. She has hated bees ever since we were youngsters, and it hasn’t gotten any better as we’ve gotten older, either. I easily remember her running like a deranged woman away from her car once because she had tried to drive away and then she abruptly saw a wasp in her rearview mirror in the back of the car. She took off running and refused to get back in the car until I killed the bee and showed her the dead body in a paper towel. I don’t really care for bees either, however I’m not exactly petrified of them the way that she is! If there is ever a yellow jacket, a wasp, a bee, a hornet, or even a sizable fly in her personal space, she will run and hide. It’s kind of amusing, if you ask me. I would never tell her that, though, because I can see that she is sincerely petrified of them. She had to reach out to a local bee extermination team last year because she found a couple of yellow jackets near the window in her house. She totally freaked out and she was convinced that she was under siege by a million bees. When the bee exterminators got to her household, they were only able to find a few bees on the premises, and so they couldn’t charge her the full fee for doing a mass extermination on her property. She told them that she would pay the full price anyway, just to be on the safe side. I don’t even know what to tell her, but Lisa needs to wear a bee proof suit when she goes outside in the Springtime and summer, I suppose.
