My thermostat control component app on my cell phone says that it is 90 degrees outside, but then you would never know that by looking at me. I’m sitting here huddled over our desk wrapped up in a huge black overcoat. I’m desperately doing battle with the a/c, and I’m always losing. I don’t know why it is always so freezing cold in this office, but it is. I am going to bring a ladder in to climb up and put some kind of cloth in the cooling system air vents to block out the freezing air from blowing right down on me! I am now working in our office every other afternoon. Back when I was working from my lake house every afternoon, it was so much nicer for me because the cooling system control component was on the setting that I liked the best – 69 degrees. And it was already 69 degrees in the house. The cooling system here is set to the same temperature, but for whatever reason, the cooling system is always blowing right down on my head. I know one of the problems is that there is only one Heating, Ventilation, and A/C device for various different offices in the building – our office and the other office of this guy across the hall. Sometimes, I will even turn the whole cooling system to the off position. But that stupid cooling system keeps blowing! Not only is it uncomfortable, but it is a complete waste of energy! We don’t have to spend any money extra for the electricity, as the utilities are included in the rent that we pay. And even though I still don’t like wasting energy, because it’s awful for the environment, it’s especially awful for our immediate environment. That’s because I am freezing to death from the cooling system!
