Making air quality nice and clean

I have bad flu symptoms that make themselves known every Spring and every fall, without fail.

I can’t remember a Springtime or a fall season when I wasn’t being plagued by a bad allergy attack, no matter how several medications I was on! It got to the point where I even was having allergy attacks inside our own lake house with the a/c running.

I mean, I could understand having pollen in the home if I had the windows open, but this was with all the windows closed and the a/c turned on. I called our local Heating and Air Conditioning supplier to ask if they knew anything that I could do to help eliminate the pollen, dust, and allergens from our ventilation system. The first thing they commanded that I do was to get all of our ventilation ducts and air vents thoroughly cleaned. I suppose as time goes by, dust and pollen can accumulate in your air ducts and the dust and debris can then fly into your living space when your forced air from your heating and cooling method blows through them. I busy an appointment to have our ventilation ducts cleaned immediately. And after that the people I was with and I went ahead and signed up to have them cleaned on a biweekly basis. I just wanted to make sure that the dust and pollen wouldn’t have a option to build up in the ventilation ducts again. The other thing I did was to order some actually high quality air filters for our central a/c unit, however changing the air filters and cleaning the ventilation ducts has actually improved our indoor air quality.
