Sometimes it just feels like things are meant to be. It really feels that way with the new heating method in our home. When I met my husband, we both agreed that we wanted to live a different lifestyle. We wanted to live far away from other people, in a small cottage. It was like a dream come true when we found a very old cottage out in the woods. It was far away enough from people, and had plenty of space. Even better, the owner was practically trying his best to get rid of it, so we got it at a great price. Granted, it had a few repairs that needed to be done, one of which was the heating and cooling system, or lack thereof. The cottage was built before the era of HVAC technology, so that was an issue that would need to be resolved. My husband and I both agreed it would be difficult to live without any form of heating and cooling, so we immediately sought help. Unfortunately, most of the A/C business were too far away, so getting an A/C specialist out here was not going to be an option. We instead talked to the local A/C corporation extensively, and asked a lot of questions. Not to ruin the interior design of the cottage, the cooling worker recommended that we used multiple mini split ductless A/C units. The ductless air conditioning units would work together and be just as good if not better than a central HVAC. This is exactly the heating and cooling method we went with as well.
