My family loves to go camping. I used to camp with my parents all the time so I am happy that i am able to carry on the tradition. It is nice to get away from everything and spend uninterrupted time with my family. All three of our kids are in high school so we will take any change they give us to spend time with time. Kids their age can be really difficult so I want to take advantage of the time that they are willing to spend with us. I even made sure that I upgraded all of our camping equipment so they would look forward to our family trips. One thing I found at the camping store that I think the kids will like is a portable air conditioner. Most of the time the kids only complain about how hot it is on our camping trips. Now they will be able to enjoy the trips in an air conditioned tent. I know the kids won’t be quite as excited about the portable air conditioner as I will be, but I think it is a great addition to our trip. I am looking forward to coming back from a day of hiking and getting to relax in the air conditioning. When I told my wife about the portable air conditioner, she was really excited too. I think our next camping trip is going to be the best one yet! Hopefully, the kids will feel the same way.

My mother was a doctor & because of this I have always wanted to be a doctor too. So I went to nursing school & I finally graduated with my degree in nursing, this was about four years ago & since then I’ve been working in a hospital full-time. I particularly prefer my job & I am so excited to have found coworkers that I liked too. I also prefer the patience that I work with, I feel so lucky to find a job I like this much, and however, there is one thing about my job I’m not deranged about. And that is how frigid the hospital is every afternoon. I know my associate and I keep the hospital frigid to ensure that germs And mildew don’t go in the hospital. However, it’s so frigid that it’s almost unbearable. I’ve talked to my boss about changing the temperature of the control unit & making the official areas where the hospital staff work a little bit warmer. However my boss does not like the idea of us & my associate and I have been fighting about the HVAC system for months now. Thankfully a few of the other doctors that I work with agree with me & feel my associate and I should be able to adjust the control unit in the official areas; Now I just need to convince my boss that letting us have control of the HVAC system in the official areas is the best idea, although I have a feeling that might not happen, although I am going to keep trying my hardest to change her mind!

I live in a part of the country that gets really serious winter weather for most of the year… It’s really chilly plus irritated plus if you don’t have a way to respectfully hot up your home, you might not survive. So I’ve been trying to feel of ways to efficiently hot my household without having to spend a ton of money. I know the most cost effective way to heat your household is to use space furnaces plus a fireplace, however they are not really safe. I have a few young children plus I want to make sure that my household is safe plus not a fire hazard. I’m tempted to go out plus buy a few space heaters, one for the home offices plus home office, although I can’t have a space furnace in my child’s home office without being scared they’re going to knock it over plus cause a fire. So I decided to call a local Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C business plus get their opinion on the best way to efficiently keep my household in the winter months. I hope they can give me some great advice because I don’t want to spend a ton of money to keep my home, I am a single mother plus I can’t afford a costly boiler like the people in the houses around me. I struggle with money plus want to make sure that I am making the best financial decisions. I am torn because all I want to do is get a space furnace however now it’s not the best option

Most of the time the adolescents only complain about how sizzling it is on our camping trips, and now they will be able to love the trips in an air conditioned tent. I know the adolescents won’t be quite as gleeful about the portable cooling system as I will be, even though I suppose it is a good addition to our trip. I am looking forward to coming back from a afternoon of hiking and getting to relax in the air conditioning, when I told my partner about the portable cooling system, she was entirely gleeful too. I suppose our next camping trip is going to be the best one yet! Hopefully, the adolescents will feel the same way.

In the area that I live, we have really bad winter weather each year.

It has been really annoying for me to get used to because I used to live in a southern climate that doesn’t get much snow if any.

Well, last week I was watching the news when the weather report called for a snowstorm the following weekend. I had never experienced a snowstorm so I didn’t know what to really expect. I wish that in that moment the week before I would have thought to check on my heating system to make sure that it was working properly. Because during the storm was the actual worst time to find out that my heating system wasn’t working. I didn’t even stock up on firewood because I thought I would be just fine with a traditional heating system. However, I could not have been more wrong about that. I found out that the heating system wasn’t working when I went to turn it on right in the middle of the storm. I tried to call a local HVAC company to come out to the house and see what was wrong with the heating system, but every HVAC company was either closed or didn’t have the time for a last minute repair. I was out of luck and left to figure out how to heat my house on my own. It was not a great experience, but I am glad that I now know how to take care of my HVAC system better and call a HVAC company well before a storm hits.

My husband has recently decided that he wants to have a mancave put down in the basement. When he told me about his big mancave it took everything inside me not to roll my eyes. I knew that he really want to have a space to get away from the kids and maybe have his friends over to the house for a football game. However, I am just not sure that having a mancave is the best way to spend our money. On top of the whole man cave idea, he always wants to install radiant heated flooring down in the basement too. We don’t have central heating and cooling in the basement so it can get really cold down there in the winter months. I actually laughed when he told me about the radiant heated flooring. If any room in our house is getting radiant heated flooring it will be our bedroom and not the basement for his mancave. I can’t even believe he would ask me something like this. I want my husband to have place of his own, but I am also not willing to drop a couple of grand on this man cave idea. I am going to have to tell him that the man cave and the radiant heated flooring is a no go. I know he will be upset but I think we can find a way better use of our time and money. Hopefully he isn’t too upset though.

I work in a typical corporate office building selling insurance and I always have a couple of properties that I rent out.

I really like renting out the houses because for the most part I don’t have to do anything to make money each month. I have been really lucky with all the tenants that I have had so far because they haven’t given me much trouble at all. I hear horror stories from my friends that have terrible tenants that destroy their homes and cause a ton on damage. I left blessed that I haven’t experienced that yet, but I think I spoke a little bit too soon. I have a tenant named Mary that has lived in on of my homes for about a month now. At first she seemed like a responsible college student, but I quickly learned that was not the case. I came over one Saturday to check on the house and it was in bad shape. I could tell right when I walked in that she had not been changing the air conditioner filters like I told her too. The air was dusty and filled with debris. I asked her about the heating and cooling system and if it was giving her any issues. Mary told me that she didn’t have any problems, but I should not have listened to her at all. I had a local HVAC company go over and make sure that everything was working properly and I was very upset that they found the whole HVAC system was in bad shape.

I live in an area of the country that gets really bad storms during hurricane season each year.

The typical hurricane season is from June to November and we are always waiting to see if a storm is going to start brewing out in the ocean.

While we wait to see if a storm is going to come it is really important that we prepare for any possible power outages or situations that might occur. My dad was always really good about having food and water in storage that we can use just incase. I took this quality from my dad and I am always making sure that I am ready incase of an emergency. Last week I saw on the news that a storm was brewing out in the ocean and it was going to make landfall this weekend. I didn’t need to rush to the store because I already had all the water, batteries, gas and food we would need down in the basement. However, I wasn’t expecting the aftermath to be quite so bad. During the storm we lost power and the HVAC system shut off. I expected that our heating and cooling system wasn’t going to be working during the storm, but I thought it would come back on right after and that was not the case. Debris got caught in our outdoor unit and it was causing the HVAC system to not work properly even after the power came back on. I was worried and called our local HVAC company to come over just to be safe.

My husband and I recently found our dream home.

We were so happy because we have been searching for the perfect place for a long time how.

I really wanted to take our time and not rush into anything, so we have been looking for about three years now. Once we found the place we wanted to have everything inspected before we moved in. We have waited long enough that we wanted to make sure everything was perfect. We had someone come out and look at the foundation, plumbing and the HVAC system. The foundation guys said everything looked perefect and the plumbing people said we were in good shape. However, when the HVAC inspection was going on we were quite so lucky. I guess the HVAC system in our new home had not been replaced or updated since the house was built over thirty years ago. The HVAC technician inspecting the house said that we would need to have nearly everything replaced so we didn’t have any problems going forward. We were lucky that we had enough money saved up to pay for the entire HVAC renovation. We made sure to include HVAC as a line item on our budget when planning how much we wanted to spend on a house. I am so thankful that my husband thought of this because we would have been screwed if not. We begin the HVAC renovations next week and I hope if everything goes well we will be living in the house in less than a month!

My family goes on vacation all together every summer since I can remember.

We have gone everywhere from the beach to the mountains.

We have even gone on a cruise and once a safari. We love to switch it up every year so the vacation is still something everyone looks forward to. This year we decided we would rent a house at the beach and spend the week relaxing in the sun. We don’t get to go to the beach very often where we will so it will be a nice break. My aunt book the house and we will all get there this Thursday. My husband and I wanted to get there first so we could check out all the rooms and see which one we liked best. When we got to the house I realized I didn’t see a HVAC system anywhere. I checked all the closets but the HVAC system was nowhere to be seen. I checked all the rooms to see if one had a window air conditioner unit, but that was not the case. I was so happy my husband and I got there first so we could go out at get some portable fans and window air conditioner units before everyone else go there. We were able to cool down the whole house without a HVAC system before the whole group arrived. It would have been a disaster if they found out the house didn’t come with any fans or air conditioner window units! Next year we will have to double check that the place we stay has a HVAC system.
