A few weeks ago at work I had a honestly bad fall plus I broke my foot. I didn’t think that the broken foot would honestly affect me that much, but it has. I thought I would be able to be back at my job the next day but that just wasn’t the case. I have had to take a lot of time off plus I don’t think I am going to be able to go back to work anytime soon. I am starting to get anxious that my job might fire me while I am gone but I think that’s honestly against the law. One thing I’ve observed that is going on while I’ve been at home with a broken foot is that my cooling system isn’t great. I try to get cool all day, but this boot has me covered in sweat. I try to lay under our air conditioner device to cool off but it doesn’t seem to help one bit. I guess I need to call the heating and A/C business and have them come service my cooling system to see if there’s anything going on. I just want to make sure nothing is wrong with our heating and cooling system since I have to be at home for so much longer. Since I’ve been out of work, I’m worried these heating and A/C repairs are going to cost a lot of money but I’m just going to have to trust the process and call the heating and A/C business tomorrow.

However, I must admit that this job is not how I thought it would be. I thought I would be spending time on the ocean and getting to see new sites. I think that the management of the cruise line is starting to get pressure from upper management but nothing has been done to repair the problem. I believe they need to call a local heating and air conditioning supplier that services cruise ships, however it doesn’t seem like the managers want to do anything like this. I think we are going to have to dock and I’m going to be out of work for a while, but the air-conditioning is fixed on the boat. I’m starting to get distraught that once the air-conditioning is fixed I might not have a task. I’m going to have to begin looking for something new once we dock.
