I feel like I’ve been hit by a tornado after waking up in the hospital following a severe workplace injury.

I don’t even remember what happened or how long it has been since I was admitted to the hospital.

My wife had to visit her family overseas and is heartbroken that I’m here in the hospital by myself, but I am just thankful to have her on the other end of a phone at the very least. I asked the doctors and the nurses what happened on the day of the accident, but only got vague responses. When I finally called my boss, he tried to downplay the situation and barely acknowledged my condition before asking me when I would be back at work. Thankfully an hour later my friend from work called to check on me, and when I told him I had no memory and had no one to fill me in, he was shocked. He said that our boss told me to get on a ladder that wasn’t secured at the base and was on an uneven surface. Apparently I protested but my boss threatened to fire me if I refused. I have been decorating our cozy dollhouse for numerous months now—painting, flooring, doors, etc.

I have finally reached the point where I am ready to add some custom furniture to the residence (yay!). There have been a bunch of custom furniture stores that have caught my eye and they all have fantastic options for the cozy dollhouse style. I have been rather close to this project the whole time. I’m afraid my mind is actually beginning to reject everything I try to decorate it with because I’ve gotten used to the residence being completely empty. So, I need your help with this thing! I am stuck between the idea of using wooden chairs or leather chairs. I suppose that might seem like nothing too serious, but it’s an important decision for us. Leather chairs will supply the residence with a particular robustness that I’m not entirely sure I want, but the wooden chairs will make the residence seem rustic which I don’t know if that’s a good idea either. I suppose I don’t want to supply the cozy dollhouse with any sort of current look (custom plastic furniture, colorless cloth custom furniture, clear furniture, etc.) Although I don’t know for certain if wooden chairs make the residence look too rustic and/or if the leather chairs make the residence look too stuffy. I’m afraid my mind is starting to reject essentially everything I try to decorate it with because I’ve easily become used to the property being empty. So, I honestly need your help! I am basically stuck between the whole plan of using wooden chairs or leather chairs. I guess that might seem like a small thing, however it’s a substantial decision in my eyes. Leather chairs will actually provide the property a certain robustness that I’m not sure I want, however the wooden chairs will make the property seem rustic which I’m not sure I want either. I guess I don’t want to deliver the cozy dollhouse with any type of modern look (custom plastic furniture,white cloth custom furniture, clear furniture, etc.) I honestly don’t know if wooden chairs will bring too much of a rustic look and/or if the leather chairs make the property look too stuffy. My parents told me that I had to get a part-time job if I wanted them to pay for college.

A lot of my friends don’t have to work and I thought it was terribly unfair.

I put up a fight for weeks, but my parents weren’t going to budge. Luckily, my dad already had a job in mind. I didn’t have to fill out any applications or go to interviews, and I didn’t have to settle for a fast food job like Taco Bell, McDonald’s, or Burger King. I thought things would be great, because I was answering phones all day. I thought it would be an easy job, but I was wrong. My job is incredibly boring. I work for a company that rents chillers and boilers. I don’t know how much information about chillers or boilers, so I can’t answer a lot of questions. It’s frustrating for me and most of our customers. Last week I tried to help a customer that was looking for a steam boiler to rent. I didn’t think that we had steam boiler rentals, so I told the guy to call another company. When I mentioned the steam boiler rental to the boss, he politely informed me that we carry all types of boilers and chillers. Most of the day I sit around the office and make copies, but when the phone rings, I wish I had better answers to give the customer. I don’t mind getting paid well for the job, but it would make a lot more sense to get a person that has some knowledge on chillers and boilers.

For years our elementary school playground has been a mess.

Half of the swings are broken or just about to fall down.

The slide had big chips missing out of it that hurt the kids’ butts when they slid down. I also think there was termite damage and mold in the wooden surround on the sandbox. On the underside of most of the playground equipment was horrible sayings in spray paint. The school board wasn’t doing anything as far as fundraising for a new playground. I got a couple of parents together, got some help from local businesses and then our local construction company gave us a deal on our playground construction. It took almost a year of working towards it, but now the kids have great equipment to play on. All the swings are brand new and safe. There are multiple slides, rope bridges, monkey bars and a rope wall for the kids to climb on. The whole playground is clean, brand new and without any harmful sayings on it. Paying for playground construction is worth it. The kids are happy and the parents are happy about the new equipment. It was so nice that the construction and remodeling business gave us a break on cost too. They even threw in a few extra pieces of equipment for the kids. After everything was doen and the kids played on the brand new set, I sent pictures of them to the construction crew. They needed to know their hard work made a huge difference in our town.

I think that there is a major problem in our HVAC companies, and I doubt that there are any HVAC technicians that ever recognize it.

I want to know the answer to a simple question.

Why don’t we have any female HVAC technicians in our HVAC company? I think that it is shameful that we do not have any female HVAC technicians in our HVAC company. Now, you may be defending yourself by thinking that if a female wanted to be an HVAC technician, they definitely could, but we all know that it isn’t true. First of all, people are skeptical about hiring a female HVAC technician. For some reason, we have convinced ourselves that HVAC work is something that only a man can do. Whenever we see an HVAC technician that needs to be fixed, we think that it is a manly job. However, I know a lot of women that like taking things apart, and they would be great at becoming an HVAC technician. They are just too afraid of becoming an HVAC technician because people treat them like they will never be a good HVAC technician because they are women. Also, I think that we have created an unsafe environment for women in our HVAC company. I have worked with a lot of HVAC technicians, and I know that the conversations that HVAC technicians have are not appropriate for mixed groups. Some HVAC technicians treat women as sexual objects, and it is shameful. If we did have an HVAC technician, would they be able to go an entire day without being stared at or hit on? We need to fix these things and encourage ladies to become HVAC technicians if they want to!
