When I was looking to get a fireplace I was having a hard time picking out which one it was that I was going to get.

After all, there were so many fireplaces that were available. They had gas fireplaces, electric fireplaces and traditional fireplaces. All with their own set of pros and cons. In my opinion, the gas fireplace is the most beautiful, however I’ve heard that it can be really dangerous if something goes wrong and so I decided against getting a gas fireplace instead I decided to go with an electric fireplace. The reason I chose to go with an electric fireplace is because it’s a little bit more modern than a traditional fireplace, which is what I want, I want a more modern fireplace. The modern fireplace gives us the benefits of the traditional fireplace and the electric fireplace. I had already picked it out at my local heating and AC business and scheduled an HVAC appointment to come and have it installed. It would look great in my home. My home is old and needs some upgrades and I thought, what better way to upgrade it than to give it a new fireplace and a brand new HVAC system? When the heat and AC technician comes out to perform the installation he will be performing the installation of both the new HVAC unit and the fireplace. It’s going to be a busy day. But it was a day that I cannot wait for!

When I first saw an advertisement for radiant heated flooring I knew it was something that I would have to have.

My home is already nice and toasty during the winter, I couldn’t imagine adding even more to that so not only would I have warm air but I would also have warm flooring.

Just the idea of having warm flooring seemed incredible to me. I am already used to using my central heating system during those cold winter months, now if I was to have radiant heated flooring I could have two sources of heat in my home! It really sounds amazing the more I think about it. When I went to see how it works, I found out that radiant heated flooring is far simpler than you would expect. The heating and air conditioning company simply installs a heating element underneath the floorboards, and that is how the floors are heated. When the day came and I had my radiant use for you installed, I was surprised at how fast the heating and easy technicians were installing the radiant heating system. I was really surprised when it was done in a matter of hours. Now I’m never going to have to worry about going cold again, because I have both my central air conditioning system and my radiant heated flooring to keep me warm. The true test will be this winter. Then I will get to eat out both heating systems for real. I can’t wait to give them a go.

What do you do if you have a big cold front coming through? So obviously you’re not going to free so here’s how you can make sure that you don’t freeze.

The first and best thing that you can do is make sure that you have your heating system all tuned up and will be maintained.

This is really important because how much you take care of your heating system will determine how much it is going to take care of you. If you don’t take care of your heating doesn’t like you’re supposed to, don’t be surprised if it breaks down during the cold winter and you have to call for emergency HVAC services. This is why I’d recommend during the fall months over the year to go ahead and have your heating system maintained. It’s better to be safe than sorry in this case and make sure that it has all the necessary tune-ups to run as intended. The second thing that I would do is not rely on one heating system. In fact, I have a couple of heating systems. I really have my central heating unit, which is a gas furnace, and a space heater in case a furnace dies. It’s always best to be prepared and have a backup, even if you don’t think you’re going to use it because it’s better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. Trust me, I had to learn this lesson the hard way one year when I didn’t have any sort of maintenance done to my furnace and it broke down and I was left cold. I had to call for emergency HVAC services to have it taken care of.

I have lived in a hot area nearly all my life and yet I still don’t think I’m ever going to be used to it.

It feels like every summer that the heat just gets worse and worse.

When we had a summer heat wave come through, the temperature easily swelled into the high 90s, there was even one Tuesday where it hit 101 degrees! If you have no air conditioning during these temperatures I truly sympathize with you, it would be dangerous to be out in the heat of that point. Thankfully, I had had my air conditioning system tuned up just before the heat arrived. We have been warned that there will be a heatwave coming days in advance and I very quickly scheduled an appointment with my community HVAC business. I was incredibly lucky because I was one of the last people to be able to get an appointment before they were all filled up. The heating and AC technician came out to my home and serviced my HVAC unit just before the heat wave arrived. It was just in time too because if it hadn’t been serviced I don’t think my air conditioning system would have been able to withstand the heat. Since the temperatures are only getting worse and worse every year I’m not looking to move into a cooler state. However, I don’t want to move from one extreme to the next, I don’t want to go far north because then I’ll just be dealing with extreme cold. But I’m thinking of moving somewhere where the heat is less intense within the next year.

I had the strangest interaction with someone yesterday.

• I was walking around doing some shopping, I was walking through town square when all the sudden some woman came running right after me.

She asked me very quickly if I wanted a free window air conditioning system. I was really surprised to be asked this. Why does she want to get rid of it so quickly? Also who just gives free HVAC products away? She quickly explained that she just doesn’t want it anymore and she’s looking for anyone to take it. I couldn’t say no to a free window air conditioner so I decided to take it. I couldn’t believe my luck. I had just gotten a free window air conditioning system, how often does that happen? I looked it over and it appeared to be in good working condition. There wasn’t even a scratch on it, it looked brand new! I guess I would find out if it worked or not once I got it home. When I got it home I plugged it in to see if it worked. I was thrilled to see it! It cooled my home very well. I don’t know why that woman was getting rid of it but I sure am happy to have it. I decided to put the window air conditioning system in my bedroom so that I could cool my bedroom down at night. My bedroom has to happen again so I figured that I put it in my bedroom window so that it would help cool it down.

I have lived in the same apartment for the better part of 5 years now.

When I first moved in this place was like paradise, it had everything I needed.

Good amenities, nice community, reasonably priced, and in a really lovely little town. Unfortunately, like the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. Living at this apartment was no different. It all started when the apartment complexes were sold and fell under their new management. Management was nothing like the old management and they did a terrible job of maintaining anything. It didn’t take long before without regular maintenance they started to fall into disrepair. The gym closed down first, then the pool, and now they’re not even responding to requests for people’s heating and AC systems to be maintained. This was really bad because my HVAC unit has broken down, something that doesn’t happen very often but previously when it had broken down they always have a service technician out within a day. Now no matter how many times I tried to get maintenance people out here, they refuse to come out and service my heating AC system. Things have just gotten worse and worse over time. I have decided that as soon as my lease runs out, that I’m going to move. In a way I will be sad to go, because of how great this place used to be, but on the other hand, I can’t wait to go somewhere better.

For the last month I have been unable to sleep at night.

It’s been pretty terrible if I’m being honest, I have to get up really early for work in the morning and it’s hard to do your job correctly when you’re always tired.

The reason I was so tired all the time was thanks to my air conditioning system. I have an AC system that is directly outside my window unfortunately it is not a quiet one. Every time it turns on or off it does so in a very loud way. It will only do this multiple times throughout the night before waking me up. As if that wasn’t bad enough, it recently started making loud banging noises. It made it almost impossible for me to get any kind of sleep. I didn’t know what I was going to do if I couldn’t get some good sleep at night, I already found myself falling asleep out in public and it was embarrassing. I knew that I was going to have to call my heating AC specialist to come out and take a look at my HVAC unit. I had been reluctant to do so because of how much I knew it cost but I knew I couldn’t wait any longer if I wanted to continue to get any kind of sleep at night and so I scheduled an appointment with the heating and AC business to have them come out and maintain the air conditioning system. When I a/c specialist came out he told me that the banging noises were from a lot of multiple loose parts in the AC unit. Thankfully he was able to get these parts of service and taken care of on the same day. Now for the first time in a long time I have finally been able to get some sleep.

A couple years ago my husband and I started house flipping.

We got into it because we love the whole design aspect of everything.

It is a lot of fun to take a place that is run down and looking like it doesn’t have much life left in it and turn it around and make it into something new entirely. We bought another home that we planned to renovate recently and this one was in serious need of a new heating and cooling system. Both Heating and the cooling system were really outdated and I don’t think they had seen an HVAC service man and probably well over a decade. I wouldn’t have been surprised if they didn’t work at all, but to my surprise the heating and AC system did still work when we tried it in the home but just barely. We had already planned to rip out the old Heating and going system and instead put in a brand new heat and AC system that was modern and up to date. We went to the local heat and AC supplier. We tried to pick out the most expensive heat and air conditioning unit available, whatever would help raise the price of the home. We successfully installed a brand new heating and cooling system, then we turned our attention towards renovating the rest of the house. And in only 3 months it was ready to sell. We were happy to find another brand new heating cooling system added a lot of value to the house, and we were surprised to see just how much something as simple as a new HVAC unit could add to a home.

We have been in the hot summer months since so having any kind of coolness was much desired

I have always dreamed of learning how to play various different instruments. I guess you could say that I’m multi-talented because I’m able to play several different instruments at the time. I can currently play the piano, the flute and the guitar. But some of these I was self-taught, and with others I took lessons for. My experience I was having trouble with the flute and so I ended up taking some music lessons on how to play it. I was skeptical at first about taking lessons, but I figured it would be best for me to continue to improve my skill. I just hope that I had a good instructor! I signed up for music lessons at my local music store and I was really happy when I took my first lesson. As soon as the lesson was over all the anxiety about taking these lessons melted away. My instructor was super cool and friendly. The lessons came easy, but the best part was the excellent heating and AC system that they had in the music class. I found myself able to relax like never before because of how great the commercial AC unit was. We have been in the hot summer months since so having any kind of coolness was much desired. However, in most places it seemed like even with the air conditioning system that is so hot in the store to some degree. Not in the music class however, I’m not sure what kind of commercial HVAC they were using but it was certainly better than the others. It was so icy cold that it cooled me instantly and made all the lessons very relaxing.

My wife got a thermostat without telling me.

This made me really mad because she replaced our old thermostat with a brand new smart thermostat.

It has nothing to do with the smart thermostat, I think programmable thermostats are great but I’m just a bit more of an old school guy that prefers the older technology. My issue comes from the fact that my wife completely replaced it from behind my back. She knew that I didn’t want to have a replacement so she did it when I wasn’t here. Obviously you didn’t think her plan all the way through because of course I’m going to notice eventually. Although admittedly it did take me a week. I confronted her about it and she said that it was the best thing for us, and for our home. But I told her that was just her opinion because she wanted the smart thermostat and I did not. There was nothing wrong with our old thermostat, it is still heating and cooling in our home efficiently. Plus she knows I don’t feel comfortable with smart thermostats, especially the fact that they are learning your schedule. I don’t know, it just feels kind of creepy to me plus I’m a big believer that new technology doesn’t hold up as well as old technology. I’m seriously considering and removing it while she isn’t there just to give her a taste of her own medicine. Then maybe she will understand.
