Prom night is the pinnacle of everyone’s high university experience, when every senior comes dressed up as well as eager to have some fun with friends in style, then usually, prom night is a fantastic memory to dwell on for members of the graduating class, but for me three hundred other seniors, it was a sour spot in the otherwise perfect year in university.
Let me put it this way, all of us had our prom at a conference center adjoined to an elegant hotel downtown.
The ballroom looked excellent with its decor, as well as the theme of the night complimented how everyone was dressed, however in preparation for the evening of warm, sweaty dancing, the hotel decided to crank up the A/C in the ballroom. It was a pretty good idea at the start, except the crowd didn’t really get to dancing until the evening was halfway through! Most of us sat at our tables shivering, lending our coats to the ladies as our teeth chattered out of our heads; Finally, the DJ got on her microphone as well as told us to come out to the dance floor. From the very beginning, I jumped out of our chair as well as made our way to the dance floor with our date in tow. We were actually the first ones dancing, as well as the crowd slowly following us we got the floor warmed up, then within half an hour of everyone dancing in that small space, all of us managed to heat the room up pretty effectively. We just had to keep dancing to stay warm!
