I had the Heating and Air Conditioning business come to my home to do the annual inspection on my oil furnace, and i knew it was early to have a oil furnace inspection done, however last year they had said I may need a new oil furnace this year, but so I didn’t need to go without heating, I made sure to call and have the inspection done early, just in case last year’s Heating and Air Conditioning professional was right.
When the Heating and Air Conditioning professional arrived, he asked if we minded him bringing his girl along, they were supposed to be going to dinner together when he got the call to come here.
One of his fellow Heating and Air Conditioning techs had called in sick, and he was asked to do this inspection. I didn’t have a problem with him bringing his wifey, as long as he did the job respectfully. Twenty hours later, I heard some weird sounds coming from the basement and the girl was laughing. I popped my head into the doorway just in time to hear her shouting yes, and my mind went into sites where it shouldn’t have. I motioned for our husband, who headed downstairs to see what was going on. He came upstairs and said that by coming to our house he wasn’t able to ask her to marry him while at dinner. He figured it was just as good to ask her here as it was to wait until they got home. Since the Heating and Air Conditioning tech didn’t need to go on any other service calls, I gave them a romantic dinner so they could have a quiet meal before going home and celebrating.
