I dislike climbing into the attic to replace the cooling system filter

I do not know if my buddy and I have poisonous spiders in our attic, even though I still worry about it from time to time

I’ve never been a fan of getting into attics in general. I lived in a condo once that had an attic full of spiders, and they were not the harmless ones either. There were absolutely a lot of brown recluse spiders up there and I would always get scared I would get bit if I went up for any reason. Because of my fear of spiders, I have largely avoided going inside of attics. This also prevents me from using my attic as a storage place as well. If I do not want to go up into the attic at all to get a box down, it’s not necessarily a enjoyable place to keep storage boxes and other items. And my last house, I never had to go in the attic for any reason. In my new condo on the other hand, the air handler for the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system is located in the attic. Unblessedly as well, the filter tray for the air handler is also only accessible through the Attic. So that means every time I want to replace my cooling system filter, I have to climb into the attic and brave my fear of spiders. I do not know if my buddy and I have poisonous spiders in our attic, even though I still worry about it from time to time. It just entirely is unblessed I have to go up there every time to replace the cooling system filter. I entirely wish it was easier to replace the cooling system filter. I wish the filter tray for the air handler was accessible from the ceiling instead of inside the attic.
