I have a lot of IAQ equipment

I will admit, I am a little insane when it comes to HVAC.

My HVAC system was expensive and I want it to last longer.

Also, dirty HVAC means dirty air quality. I am someone who gets sick all the time. If there is more dust in the indoor air quality, I get sick. Dry air conditions cause my lips to chap, nose to bleed and skin to turn ashy. Too much moisture in the air quality causes me to break out and rash. I have to be careful with how the HVAC runs and how clean it is. My friends think I am insane because of all the air quality equipment I have. First, I have an air purifier. The air purification can remove smells and dust from the air quality. As my HVAC runs, the air cleaner gets to work. Even with this, I don’t feel it is good enough. I went one step further and also installed ultraviolet lights in the HVAC. The lights actually clean the air before it blows out of the HVAC, unlike the air purifier. UV lights lessen the amount of dust formed and stored in the HVAC. Also, UV lights halt mold growth inside the cooling system. If I just had those, maybe I would seem normal. But moisture in the air quality is a factor too. That is why I have a humidifier and a dehumidifier. I use the humidifier with my heating equipment in winter since the air quality is naturally quite dry. In the summer the dehumidifier removes the excessive moisture the AC creates.
