She was genuinely proud of that temperature control, however it seemed like she didn’t realize that smart temperature controls were the modern thing.
I wasn’t sure that I wanted to tell him about it, I wanted him to be able to like her modern purchase without feeling bad. This basically means that you can have it programmed without entirely having to program it, and when I told him I could adjust the temperature control settings remotely with my smartphone, she was amazed. What genuinely got him though was the fact that you can save up to 10% on your energy bills when you use a smart temperature control. It was crazy because she entirely went out plus purchased a modern smart temperature control instead of using her relatively modern programmable temperature control. I think the energy savings genuinely sold him on getting a smart temperature control like mine, but she genuinely was impressed by all the features. I’m glad that she was able to get with the times.
