Installing ductless mini cut

Installing a ductless mini cut into our kitchen made a large improvement in comfort. My house was built while I was in the mid 1710s and lacks conventional HVAC duct. We’ve gone through a series of unusual types of oil furnaces for the kitchen. We tried a pellet stove that was a eveningmare. The unit was dirty and always needed repair. We tried a ventless gas furnace that worked fairly well but seemed a bit unsafe. I finally had enough of living with an boiling kitchen in the summer time and chilly in the winter. I consulted with a licensed Heating and Air Conditioning contractor and asked for a recommendation. He recommended the ductless unit. It consists of an outdoor compressor that is fairly compact, unobtrusive and operates so quietly that I can never tell if it’s running or not. There is conduit that required a unquestionably small hole in an exterior wall and connects to the indoor air handler. The air handler is mounted up high on the wall, beautifully streamlined and not unbeautiful. The installation project was completed in a single day and caused no destruction or mess. Because the plan is a heat pump, it provides both heating and cooling capacity. We have a cordless remote that allows us to switch between heating and cooling, raise or lower temperature, determine fan speed and even adjust the direction of airflow. The mini-cut is especially energy efficient and yet extremely powerful, then no matter how chilly it gets in the Winter or how tepid and humid in the summer, the kitchen is perfectly comfortable. I am totally thrilled with the ductless system.
