This weekend, it turned out to be way hotter than we thought it would be whenever we were camping. We always try to take the camper out at least twice a month to go camping during the summer time. Our family loves doing that, and hanging out at the campsite is one of our favorite things to do together. We love fishing and hiking and all kinds of other outdoor stuff, so camping is really something that we all like doing together. This weekend, the temperature was supposed to be in the high seventies, and so we thought that it would be fine to take the camper out even though the air conditioning wasn’t working. We usually run the A/C in the camper when we are camping in the summer, but since it was broken and we really wanted to go out, we decided to take a chance. Since the weather had said that it wasn’t really going to be all that hot over the weekend, we thought that we would probably be okay with the A/C. That turned out to be a really huge mistake. The weather took a turn while we were there, and it started heating up literally overnight. I don’t know how that even happened, but it got hotter and hotter and our poor camper felt like an oven inside. Without the air conditioning inside, we were basically roasting ourselves inside of a big tin can on wheels. We couldn’t even stay for the weekend. We ended up leaving after just one day because it was just too hot.
