The air conditioner in my grandmas house was faulty

Our Grandma lived a short drive from our house.

Instead of going home after school, my brother and I would walk to her house.

Most of the time, she was seated on the front porch waiting for us to arrive, and after we greeted her, we’d go into the house for some snacks and fun conversations, but last week, we opted to go to her house as usual and found dad’s truck outside. We went into the house and learned that Grandma wasn’t feeling well! The outdated AC device had caused her to fall ill and needed fixing. None of us had been aware an aircon device could affect one’s health until that day, but dad had taken Grandma to the hospital then phoned the AC supplier for assistance. A heating and cooling worker was working on the central heating and cooling device when we got to the house. Dad informed us that the cooling device had lots of mold and mildew in it. No one had inspected it for some time, which caused the issue to get worse. The mold and mildew spores had spread across the house, but breathing them in would cause us all to get sick, however at least the issue was getting fixed. Dad talked to the Heating and A/C worker about an annual AC service plan to make sure that never happened again. The aircon expert had numerous options for him and went into detail about each. Every year, an AC professional would come to Grandma’s home and check the a/c unit. If there were any problems, he’d fix them then clean different parts like the air filter and condenser unit. Doing so would keep all infection-causing gunk and organisms away and improve the air quality in her home. The matter was resolved, and Grandma’s health got better. She was excited dad had jumped into action and helped her just in the nick of time.
