The early bird is guaranteed a comfortable summer when it comes to HVAC maintenance

At the beginning of this year, winter just wouldn’t quit.

  • Old man winter reached his cold icy hands across almost the entirety of the spring in some places where the weather would normally be at least somewhat warm and mild, normally.

In some places high in the mountains, it was still snowing in June, believe it or not! Because of this, I’m sure more than ever, the last thing people were thinking about was air conditioning for the summertime! However, despite how freakishly long winter was in the beginning of the year, it’s still a good idea to be proactive about air conditioning maintenance for the summer. I would personally suggest getting your A/C maintenance completed in May in some of the colder parts of the United States, while in the more hot and humid areas, I would suggest getting it done as early as March! Get the air filters changed out for fresh ones, unclog the drains, make sure vents and intakes are not being blocked, make sure the outdoor condenser unit is cleaned and free of obstructions, and so on and so forth. Anything you can take care of on your own you write check company will be more than happy to help you with. Not to mention the fact that they will be far less busy with air conditioning maintenance in the spring as opposed to the summer. You are sure to get an appointment quite quickly, instead of having to wait several days or even weeks if you did it in the middle of the summer, when HVAC companies are at their absolute busiest!
