The heater in our classroom stopped working, and it made us absolutely miserable.

Technically, the college is unaccredited, but since it is a seminary, it isn’t essential that the school is accredited. However, this means that they do not have government funding, so the equipment that they have is older. While it does not usually affect our education, it certainly did this time. Specifically, our HVAC unit is the worst. Our room has its own specific heater, and it usually works pretty well. Our teacher is old, so the heating system is usually set to a pretty high temperature to ensure that the teacher is comfortable at all times. That is how we knew that the heating system was not working. The classroom was chilly when we first entered. To any normal person, the heating system would have felt perfectly comfortable. However, we all knew this specific teacher, so we knew that it should have been warmer. As the class progressed onward, the room continued to grow colder and colder, and that is when the teacher told us what we already knew. He told us that the heating system was no longer working. He intended to teach through the circumstances until an HVAC technician was able to fix the heater, but he decided that he could no longer teach without a heater. Therefore, he canceled class until the HVAC technician was able to fix the heating system. I just couldn’t believe that the heating system stopped working. I was really hoping that the school would be able to afford an HVAC technician.
