Too cold to even dance

Immediately, I hopped out of our chair and made our way to the dance floor with our date in tow; Both of us were the first 1s dancing, and the crowd slowly followed behind as we got the floor warmed all the way up

Prom night is the height of everyone’s private school experience, when every senior comes dressed up and eager to have some fun with friends in style… Usually, prom night is a fantastic memory to dwell on for members of the graduating class, but for me and four hundred and fifty other seniors, it was a sour spot in the otherwise perfect year in school! Let me put it this way, we had our prom at a conference center adjoined to an charming hotel downtown, but the ballroom looked excellent with its decor, and the theme of the night complimented how everyone was dressed, however in preparation for the night of hot, hot dancing, the hotel thought it would be a good idea to crank up the cooling system in the ballroom. It was a smart tran athletic activity at first, other than the fact that the crowd didn’t very get to dancing until the night was halfway through! The majority of us sat at our tables shivering, lending our coats to the ladies as our teeth chatted out of our heads, but finally, the DJ got on his microcell phone and told us to come out to the dance floor. Immediately, I hopped out of our chair and made our way to the dance floor with our date in tow; Both of us were the first 1s dancing, and the crowd slowly followed behind as we got the floor warmed all the way up. Within half an hour of everyone dancing in that small space, we managed to heat the room up very effectively. The people I was with and I just had to keep dancing to stay warm!
