My family has no boundaries.
We’re kind of an unhealthy Bunch.
We’ve all been through a lot together, and I don’t know if it’s really brought us closer together or push us further apart over the years. I can tell you that this past weekend was the first time they’ve ever come and visited me in my new home. And I’ve lived here for about five years now. We’re just not a very tight bunch. When they do come into town, I quickly remember why we don’t spend so much time together. They are so negative, all they do is complain. It’s like they’re never happy, comfortable or relaxed. Meanwhile, I try to live my life the opposite way. It certainly difficult when they rack up my energy bills and then head out of town. I’ll never forget, this past weekend, the thing they were most interested in was probably my central thermostat. For whatever reason, they were completely aghast at the high outdoor air temperatures. I don’t know why they were surprised, but they didn’t expect it to be hot outside. From that moment on, they continually paw at my central thermostat. They turned the AC up and down and back up again, all weekend long. They were hot, and then cold, and then hot. Every time I thought that we had reached an air temperature agreement, I found somebody else staring at the thermostat and mindlessly pressing buttons. My HVAC system definitely got to work out for these past three days. My wallet is also going to get a workout, because the energy bill is going to be astronomical for this month. Thanks a lot family.
