I have recently started a job on a cruise ship that takes entirely long trips out to sea.
I enjoy spending time on the sea, and I always thought it would be fun for me to be able to travel so much for work. I must admit that this job is not how I thought it would be. I thought I would be spending time on the ocean as well as getting to see new sites but that just has not been the case! Since I started working at this new task on the cruise line the air conditioning has not been working. I’ve been on the ship for about multiple weeks now and haven’t had air conditioning once, but not to mention it’s the middle of the summer as well as most of the guests are starting to get entirely frustrated that the air conditioning isn’t cooling properly. I guess that the management of the cruise line is starting to get pressure from upper management but nothing has been done to service the problem. I guess they need to call a local heating and air conditioning company that services cruise ships but it doesn’t seem like the supervisors want to do anything like this. I guess we are going to have to dock and I’m going to be out of work for a while. The air-conditioning is fixed on the boat. I’m starting to get worried that once the air-conditioning is fixed I might not have a task. I’m going to have to start looking for something new once the two of us dock.
