Finding A/C symptoms online

Not many years ago, my niece posted on her social media about how she did her own a/c repair.

I was surprised, to say the least, as it would never occur to me that she would fix her own A/C.

But when I asked her about it, she said that’s what happens; she did not have a lot of extra money lying around – and you try to repair your own a/c! Anyway, she was legitimately able to fix the A/C and she didn’t even get help from her husband, who is basically useless! She did online research. She put in the symptoms her a/c was experiencing, and then an A/C website popped up. That led her to an online video that explained what the problem was. It also said how to repair it. There was even a link to order the necessary parts from a famous online retailer. So, she ordered the a/c parts. She paid for one-day shipping, and she got busy on the A/C repair the next day. She said it was legitimately easy. She just watched the video all the way through and then she turned it back on plus did the a/c repair step by step. She paused the video as she went along! At first, I was just flabbergasted by the whole thing. Lately I’m beginning to think that the next time my a/c stops working, I might just decide to try doing my A/C repair myself. I will put the “symptoms” into the a/c website. Depending on what it says, I will decide whether it is something I can do or not. I guess if all that it entails is unscrewing one part plus screwing another one in, I should probably be fine.
