I couldn’t buy gas and cigs without my purse

I left the property in a hurry and I forgot to grab my purse.

I genuinely didn’t realize the major mistake until I was sitting in line at the service station waiting to spend money for my gas and cigarettes.

I looked around, however my purse wasn’t there. I went out to the truck to go looking for my purse. I searched all over the truck, the glovebox, and the front seat. I didn’t locate my purse at all, but I needed gas to make it to the next work assignment. I was supposed to drive to the beach to help a buyer with an AC equipment upgrade. I called the buyer and told the guy that I was going to be late. I called my boss after that and I explained what was going on. He laughed a little, although he agreed to meet me at the gas station. Approximately thirty minutes later, I saw my boss come into the parking lot. He was driving another work truck and he told me to take it to the work location. I got in the work truck and left for the beach. My boss took the other work truck back to the HVAC shop. I was about 30 minutes late for the AC upgrade work and the buyer didn’t seem bothered in the slightest. The guy was actually kind and he left me alone to install the new AC equipment. When I was done, I went back to my property. I still thought I lost my purse, until I noticed it there sitting on the dresser next to the bed.
