The other afternoon, our boss decided to fire me.
It was honestly messed up because the climate control system broke down at the office. The boss didn’t bother getting the system fixed and it became legitimately warm at the office. When I’m dealing with hot temperatures like that, I tend to get physically tired and I couldn’t help however fall asleep! I asked the boss on numerous possibilities to please call an Heating and Air Conditioning corporation to have the fixed and he just said he would get around to it. It was clear that getting the fixed was not on his list of priorities. I was caught falling asleep a few times. I even had some friends that tried to help keep myself and others awake however it was no use. Finally the boss said he had to let myself and others go because I was not being productive. I argued that it was not easy to be productive when the job was legitimately warm. I even asked him if I ever had any problems keeping awake when the was entirely working. Even he admitted there were no problems with our labor performance until that time, and regardless, he still let myself and others go. All of our co-workers were aggravated about it and there were a couple of friends that just quit the task when they saw I was fired. If they don’t love their employees and don’t bother to keep up with the Heating and Air Conditioning, I don’t expect that corporation to last legitimately long. There is no way anybody is going to want to continue working at such a place, and really I’m glad I don’t have to labor there any longer. I already got unemployment and am looking for a better task.
