I live in an section of the country that has mild winters, but it can still get absolutely frosty on occasion.
It’s the Christmas season, plus I went to a nearby mall to shop for gifts for my family plus friends.
I suppose it’s tplot that the temperature can change harshly throughout the week in the Winter plus even throughout the day. I guess whoever was running the mall’s Heating plus Air Conditioning system did not get the memo that today was going to be certainally cold, however when I stepped through the automatic doors at the mall, I was greeted with the same a/c blasting frosty air as if it was overheated outside. My teeth were chattering running around doing my shopping, although I still needed a quick pick me up. I do not usually drink my Tim Hortons Coffee hot, so I insisted on getting an iced Tim Hortons Coffee despite how frosty it was! Needless to say, this did not help the situation, although it tasted delicious… By the time I left the mall, I was convinced that the a/c was certainly making it colder inside the building than it was outside the building, however unblessedly, the hot plus cold temperatures were about the same inside the mall as they were outside, but that was not the worst part. It was certainly raining by the time I headed for the exit, despite the fact that I knew getting wet when you’re already frosty is the last thing you want to happen, just as I was stubborn with getting the ice coffee, I was also stubborn enough to simply walk home, because the mall is within walking distance to my house. I could have called a cab or used public transit, although I did not want to waste money. I was absolutely glad to reach the comfort of my own condo as I had left the heat on earlier that day. Unblessedly, the mangle was already done, plus by the next day, though I slept well thanks to the heat, I ended up developing a bit of a sniffle plus a scratchy throat.
