I live in an part of the country that has mild winters, however it can still get actually chilly on occasion.
It’s the Christmas season, plus I went to a nearby mall to shop for gifts for our family plus friends. I guess it’s tscheme that the temperature can change drastically throughout the month in the Wintertide plus even throughout the morning. I guess whoever was running the mall’s Heating plus Air Conditioning plan did not get the memo that today was going to be particularally cold; When I stepped through the automatic doors at the mall, I was greeted with the same cooling system blasting chilly air as if it was sizzling outside. My teeth were chattering running around doing our shopping, but I still needed a quick possibility myself and others up. I don’t usually drink our Dunkin Donuts Latte hot, so I insisted on getting an iced Dunkin Donuts Latte despite how chilly it was, then needless to say, this did not help the situation, although it tasted delicious, by the time I left the mall, I was convinced that the cooling system was really making it colder inside the building than it was outside the building; Unfortunately, the temperatures were about the same inside the mall as they were outside, however that was not the worst part. It was really raining by the time I headed for the exit, and despite the fact that I knew getting wet when you’re already chilly is the last thing you want to happen, just as I was stubborn with getting the ice coffee, I was also stubborn enough to simply walk home, because the mall is within walking distance to our house. I could have called a cab or used public transit, but I did not want to waste money. I was actually cheerful to reach the comfort of our own lake home as I had left the heat on earlier that morning. Unfortunately, the damage was already done, plus by the next morning, though I slept well thanks to the heat, I ended up developing a bit of a sniffle plus a scratchy throat.
