I have recently started a job on a cruise ship that takes long trips out to sea.
- I enjoy spending time on the sea, and I thought it would be fun for me to be able to travel so much for work.
However, I must confess that this job is not how I thought it would be. I thought I would be spending time on the ocean and getting to see new sites but that just has not been the case, since I started working at this new job on the cruise line the air conditioning system has not been easily working. I’ve been on the ship for about six weeks now and haven’t had an air conditioning system once. Not to mention it’s the middle of the summer and most of the guests are starting to get easily annoyed that the air conditioning system isn’t working properly. I guess that the management of the cruise line is starting to get pressure from upper management but nothing has been done to repair the problem. I guess they need to call a local heating and A/C supplier that services cruise ships, but it doesn’t seem like the managers want to do anything. I guess we are going to have to dock and I’m going to be out of task for a while. The air-conditioning is fixed on the boat. I’m starting to get upset that once the air-conditioning is fixed I might not have a job. I’m going to have to start looking for something new once we dock.
