I recently redid my entire family room, however i got all new appliances, countertops as well as new flooring, the family room looked lovely for about a week, as well as then I destroyed it, however after spending all that money on the family room, I did not want to spend another dime; Unfortunately, the family room needed cooling.
I should have called in a Heating as well as Air Conditioning business to fasten air duct to my central a/c as well as have the air ducts extend into my new family room.
I cheaped out on this though. Instead I decided to just get more than one window a/cs as well as leave them in the windows during the summer. The window a/cs were not the right size, a little overweight as well as looked terrible. They were cheap as well as I thought that they would get the cooling task done. The day I installed the cooling units I went to the hardware store to to occasion up some new knobs for my family room cupboards. It was literally the last touch on my new family room, then when I returned, I observed one of my window AC units had fallen in my absence, however not only was the AC method is pieces as well as no longer functional, the new flooring was disfigured. I have a large dent as well as scratches in my brand new hardwood floors. I will need to sand the floor down as well as maybe that won’t even fix it. I am also out my AC method too, and so trying to cheap out on cooling did not go so well. It might even cost me more money to fix my concerns than it would have been to tack onto central cooling system.
