It was nearly midnight when I woke up in a full sweat… There wasn’t any cool air coming out of the air vents and it had to be at least 80° inside of the house, then my sheets were soaked with sweat and my dogs were panting on the floor, then i put on some clothes and I walked down the hall to the section where the control component is situated.
I looked at the control component and it was off.
I changed the batteries and that did not help anything. I figured there must be a problem with the A/C unit. I use an a/c service service that is in the city. They offer enjoyable rates and excellent service. They have emergency services 24 hours a day. I called the emergency service service at midnight. The site had a specialist standing by and the guy was dispatched to my home, within an hour, the emergency service specialist was diagnosing the problem. I was embarrassed to find out that the issue was the control unit. The entire time I thought that it couldn’t be the control component because I changed the batteries. It was time for me to get a new machine. There was no issue with the A/C unit; After the service specialist installed a new control unit, the a/c came right on and cold air began to pour out of the vents. I still had to pay an emergency service fee and I had to pay for a new control unit, but since I was going to get something new, I decided to go with a programmable control component with a touch screen display.
