I have a carport that I am hoping to convert into a workout space, it is a metal structure with a roof plus two unfinished sides.
It sits in the sand quite a distance from my house. I want to hire out all the services to make it functional. I want to pour cement to have a smooth floor. I want the walls finished plus the ceiling raised. Next I am hoping to get electricity in there so I can have heating plus cooling; The space won’t be too big, I feel a ductless mini split could handle everything. I would like to get a smart temperature control that I can control from my cellphone. That way I could be in bed plus turn on the boiler or air conditioner. Then by the time I get to my workout space, I could have the right temperature there. It wouldn’t have to supply temperature control for long, just around an hour. I feel the cost of the ductless mini split won’t be too disappointing either. I don’t need the upgrade to be pretty or to have the machine hidden from prying eyep. It is just a workout facility, slap it in there, but having quality heating plus cooling will be a game changer too, then right now I am relying on a space boiler plus a box fan for weather conditions control. It just does not get the task done, also, my workout space is a bit tightplus short; So having a full carport will be a sizable replace for me.
