My thermostat app on my cell phone is telling me that it is 91 degrees outside; You would never assume that by looking at me… I am huddled over our desk wrapped up in a huge black jacket.

And I have blue lips.

I am desperately doing battle with the a/c in this office, and I am losing. I don’t really know why it is constantly so cold in this office, however it is! I am going to bring in a ladder and climb it and put some kind of a cloth in the a/c air vents to block out the cold air. I need to keep it from blowing on me! I am now toiling in the office every other day, and when I was still working from my apartment every day, it was so much nicer there because the a/c thermostat was on the setting I love the best – 69 degrees. It was 69 degrees in the house, and the A/C here is set to the same temperature, too. However, for whatever reason, the a/c is constantly blowing out right on me. One problem is that there is only one Heating and Air Conditioning machine for 2 separate offices in the building – our office and the office of a woman who works across the hall. Occasionally, I even turn the whole a/c system to the off position. The stupid a/c keeps blowing and not only is it uncomfortable, but it is a waste of energy. And we don’t pay any extra for the electricity, since the utilities are included in the rent. However, I still don’t love wasting energy. It’s really terrible for the environment. And it’s especially terrible for our immediate environment because I am just freezing to death from the A/C.
