The best thing about the new house I just moved into is the gas fireplace. When I was looking at houses one thing that I wasn’t paying attention to was the HVAC system, until I got to the house with the gas fireplace. I know that it is pretty easy to install a gas fireplace into any home, but for some reason I was really drawn to the gas fireplace in my new home. When I thought about how nice it would be to not have to turn the furnace on I decided that it was the house for me. My husband thought I was crazy because I based my decision on the heating and cooling system of the house, but now he really loves our HVAC system. My husband’s favorite part of the HVAC system is the fact that we have a smart thermostat. If you have never had a smart thermostat you should really try it out. Some people also call them a wifi thermostat, but the idea is the same. You can control the thermostat from your phone or computer and you save a ton of money on your HVAC bill. It might seem like it’s expensive to get a new smart thermostat but the amount that you save on your HVAC bill makes it worth it. If you don’t believe me you should get a smart thermostat from a retailer that lets you return the product and test it out. I can pretty much guarantee you will save money on your HVAC bill in the first month, my HVAC bill is much lower.
